SEA Transfer Enrichment Day 2012 Coordinator/Volunteer Application!
The Southeast Asian organizations of UCLA present the first Southeast Asian Transfer Enrichment Day. This event is a one day program that will be held on Friday, May 11th, 2012. It will serve newly admitted transfer students of Burmese, Hmong, Indonesian, Khmer, Laotian,Mien, Thai, Vietnamese, and those of other Southeast Asian descent. It has come to our attention that the transfer community makes up a large portion of the student body and that we need to address those needs within our SEA community. The purpose of the event is to showcase campus experience and higher education at a university level to achieve enrollment of Southeast Asian students. We seek to spread awareness of the Southeast Asian American identity and other relevant issues. In addition to addressing the needs of the SEA community, we will specifically be addressing the needs of transfer students. SEATED is necessary to ensure the diversity and representation of SEA students on the UCLA campus. In order to make this first ever program tailored to SEA transfers a success, we need your help!
Apply to be a coordinator or volunteer in the link below!
Coordinator applications are due Sunday February 26 at 11:59PM
Volunteers will be accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
