The Vietnamese Student Union (VSU), established in 1977, is the official voice of all Vietnamese students at UCLA through its advocacy for the cultural, educational, political, and social welfare of the Vietnamese community at large.
“The Vietnamese Student Union (VSU) at the University of California, Los Angeles addresses immigrant struggles and the impact of the refugee history on the Vietnamese and Southeast Asian community. Our programs and projects educate and advocate for our community members by empowering our students through critical and civic engagement, particularly in light of the upcoming election season. We are committed to cultivating a supportive and inclusive space for students to become a strong voice for the Vietnamese community and collaborate with other communities of color to improve the campus climate through social and political change.”
We hold general meetings every Wednesday at 6pm! The location varies, so keep up with us on Facebook to find out more.
