Who doesn’t enjoy good vibes and good company over some hot coffee? Well don’t we have the perfect event for you to do so. The Vietnamese Student Union at UCLA presents Cà Phê Ấm: Hot Coffee Night on January 13th, 2013 at 4-6pm in the Sunset Recreation Center: Buenos Ayres Room. This event is intended to celebrate the intersection of gender, queer, and Vietnamese American identity and culture through art.
Why these specific intersections? On January 21st, 2013, VSU will also be having our 33rd Annual Vietnamese Culture Night, an event that will address these issues and their intersections. As a matter of fact, we will have performers from VCN preview their talent for you to see!
So, expect some:
-Traditional Vietnamese dancing
-VSU Modern performance
-Awe Chords A Capella
-and much more
all in the company of great Vietnamese coffee, snacks, and fun people.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity and come join us on the Sunday of Week 2 January 13th at 4pm. Can’t wait to see you all there.
