Southeast Asian Students For Organizing (SEASON) is a 3 day, 2 night conference at UCLA with advocacy training workshops, keynote speakers, and coalition building activities to provide a safe space for Southeast Asian students and allies to strategize campus-based actions to effectively advocate for their community. Applications are now open for:
Family Heads will lead “families” i.e. groups of students who will be spending time together during the conference! These families will act as support systems for the students in it, with the Fam Heads fostering that healing space for them and encouraging dialogue. Together, the Fam Heads and their respective families will create a support network for themselves and hopefully leave with a strong sense of community and self-understanding!
APPLICATION DEADLINE: January 31st, 2020 at 11:59 PM
Volunteers are integral parts of SEASON! Their roles and responsibilities include: assists with putting on the conference, help with registration, provide information for attendees, assist with setting up and serving food, direct and lead attendees to their specific workshops, take notes during workshops and/or panel, assist with the check-out process for attendees!
