| A few words about VSU | “VSU has been a winding torrent of happiness, discovery, community, friendship, love, and challenge throughout my 4 years at UCLA. I would not be the person I am today if VSU had not instilled into me the fire of the phoenix when it comes to one’s passion for his or her community, or the culture that courses like blood through his or her very own veins. I am a product of VSU and the legacy that is the Vietnamese people; and came forth as a seedling, became a student leader, and left a advocate for the Vietnamese people and underserved communities. I’ve made companions, best friends, and brothers and sisters in this organization – and they will follow my memories for a lifetime.” |

Through VSU, I have build bonds and relationships with people who I can honestly say are my true friends. Along the way, I have met great mentors through VSU that gave me great advice and shared their awesome experiences with me.
