Mission Statement:

The Vietnamese Student Union (VSU), established in 1977, is the official voice of all Vietnamese students at UCLA through its advocacy for the educational, social, cultural, and political welfare of the Vietnamese community at large.

Vision:

We are a family, a home away from home.
Through identifying with our collective Vietnamese and Southeast Asian experience, we recognize how our history, culture, and refugee struggle shape us today.
By nurturing an environment to develop conscious leaders, we empower students to find relevancy and advocate for social justice.
With compassion, we address needs servicing to advance the community and beyond.
