2014 Election Results: Round 3 (ICC Rep; Outreach; Retention Coordinators)

Dear Members of the Vietnamese Student Union,

Thank you all for participating in the 2014 Vietnamese Student Union Elections (Round 3). The votes were counted on May 29, 2014 at 2:30 pm by the President, Anh Q. Nguyen. To assure validity, the counting of the votes was monitored by a UCLA full-time employee and the CPOSA & SIAC Fiscal Officer, Cinthia J. Loera. The results are as follows:

Outreach Coordinator

Confidence: 40, No Confidence: 9 = 81.6% – ELECTED


Retention Coordinator

Kim-Thy Nguyen
Confidence: 36, No Confidence: 18 = 66.7% – ELECTED

Anthony An Tran
Confidence: 14, No Confidence: 40 = 25.9% – NOT ELECTED


Congratulations to those elected! Candidates have one week to formally accept. Elected candidates will receive a follow-up notice from the current President. If any position is not accepted, positions will be reopened for election.

Reminder: Applications are still open for Board positions. All positions will go through the appointment process.
