2014 Election Results: Round 2 (Fiscal; Political; Social; Education Coordinators)

Dear Members of the Vietnamese Student Union,

Thank you all for participating in the 2014 Vietnamese Student Union Elections (Round 2). The votes were counted on May 14, 2014 at 8:00 pm by the President, Anh Q. Nguyen. To assure validity, the counting of the votes was monitored by a UCLA full-time employee and the SRC Internship Director, Wade Yandall. The results are as follows:

Political Advocacy Coordinator

Confidence: 23, No Confidence: 1 = 95.8% – ELECTED

Social Affairs Coordinator

Kati Nguyen
Confidence: 15, No Confidence: 7 = 68.2% – ELECTED

Education Coordinator

Lauren Nguyen
Confidence: 21, No Confidence: 5 = 80.8% – ELECTED

Congratulations to those elected! Candidates have one week to formally accept. Elected candidates will receive a follow-up notice from the current President. If any position is not accepted, positions will be reopened for election.

Reminder: Applications are still open for Board positions. We will continue with elections hearing Wednesday Week 9. More information will be available at a later time. Expected start time of election will be 6:00 PM. A general reminder, the next election will begin promptly and coming in late may result in being unable to vote for a position.
