Vietnamese Student Union Appointment Results

Dear Members of the Vietnamese Student Union,

I am proud to announce the presidential appointments for the 2011-2012 VSU Board. Anh Nguyen and Justin Nguyen have been appointed as Education Co-Coordinators for the 2011-2012 academic year. In addition, Souania Moua has been appointed as Retention Coordinator for the 2011-2012 academic year. Congratulations to the newly appointed officers! Appointments have one week to formally accept.

Thank you everyone for taking part in the elections process. This concludes the 2011 VSU Elections. Good luck to the incoming leadership!

Vietnamese Student Union Election Results Part 2

Dear Members of the Vietnamese Student Union,

Thank you all for participating in the 2011 Vietnamese Student Union Elections (Part 2).  The votes were counted on May 18, 2011 at 8:00 pm by the following members of the Board and Elections Committee: Van Huynh, Nancy Nguyen, and Nicole Nguyen.  The results are as follows:

Political Advocacy Coordinator

Cao Nguyen Le – Yes: 23, No: 0 = 100% Elected

Public Relations Coordinator

Uyen Hoang – Yes: 22, No: 1 = 95.7% Elected

Inter-Collegiate Council Representative

Danielle Nguyen – Yes: 19, No: 4 = 82.6% Elected
Congratulations to those elected! Candidates have one week to formally accept. Elected candidates will receive a follow-up notice from the current President. If any position is not accepted, positions will be reopened for election.
