VSU Board Elections Part 1
When: Wednesday, April 20th, 6-8PM

What: This week, as many of you know, is the first round of VSU elections! Be a part of the democratic process, and help shape the future leadership of VSU.
Part 1 Elections will encompass the positions of:
Internal Vice President
External Vice President
*Come prepared and ask potential candidates about their vision of the future of VSU, or pose any other questions you have! You must be present at elections in order to make your vote count! Please come on time because we will start on time.*

VSU board elections are coming up starting week 4 and we are looking for new board members for the 2011-2012 academic year! If you are interested in running to be on VSU board next year, be sure to check download and check out the application:
Vietnamese Graduation Committee Applications
V-Grad, Vietnamese Graduation, is designed for graduating seniors who identify as Vietnamese, have been involved with VSU, and/or would like to be part of the ceremony to celebrate such a momentous occasion with their families, friends, and individuals who have contributed to their success.

Speakers / Volunteer – Outreach to the community to find guest speakers, oversee volunteers that will be needed on the day of the event
Logistics / Gifts – Help plan and gather materials, plan and create the gifts for graduating seniors (sashes and certificates)
Food / Entertainment – Work with a strict budget to get food for the event, outreach for cultural performers to entertain
Decorations – Work with a strict budget to decorate the location

HOPE is looking for driven and motivated individuals dedicated to promoting access to higher education. Make a difference by working with HOPE student-staff toward servicing students in Los Angeles and Orange County.
