Community Programs Office Commuter Van Service

Published by:

Hope you’re all doing well today!

The CPO Study Hall Service will now provide transportation to students living outside a 15mile radius all in exchange for 1hr of successful studying and a SRC Peer Counselor. The purpose of this service is to provide long-distance commuters with accessibility to on campus resource by staying longer, but also an incentive to get involved with student organizations.

The Van will leave CPO M-W at 6pm. The student driver has been instructed to have drop off spots, but we can figure out a route where we can drop students off near their homes or at their homes. The service is free and you are all welcomed to use it.

If students are interested, please forward attached application to me ASAP. The service will start Monday October 25th, 2010.

Let me know if you have any questions, comments and or concerns.

VSU Fall Week 4 General Meeting

Published by:

When: Wednesday, October 20 · 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Where: Geology 4660

Hey VSU Bruins!

I hope you all have had a great family night and got to meet all your families. Come out again this week to see your family again and we’ll be having an integrated general meeting with VCH(Vietnamese Community Health) and VNLC(Vietnamese Language and Culture) so you can find out what the other Vietnamese organizations on campus are about.

If its your first time coming to a VSU meeting, or you missed out on joining a family, its not too late to come and join a family! Families are a great way to make bonds on a more personal level.
